We’re welcoming AMEC – just one of many big names now at Lingfield Point »

ONE of Darlington’s biggest employers is on the move and on the up.   We’re chuffed to bits to learn that we’ll be welcoming AMEC  and its 500+ staff to Lingfield Point – choosing us as their central base for operations in Darlington.

Welcoming our latest customer to Lingfield Point

AMEC will be based at Meadow, the impressive 50,000 sq ft office space in Darlington with great amenities – making AMEC’s 500-plus staff feel right at home.

John Orchard, of Lingfield Point, said: “It will be great to welcome AMEC – the fact that such a prestigious company wants to be located here is confirmation of the fact that Lingfield Point is the premier location for business.

“We offer something above average – I always say our offices have ‘soul’ and that’s something I believe AMEC picked up on when considering the move.”

Peter Stalker, Vice President of AMEC’s Conventional Power & Process business said: “I believe that this move will provide a professional working environment to match AMEC’s vision and values.  It represents a significant long-term commitment by AMEC in the North East and will ensure we support our customers and markets in order to help deliver Vision 2015 and beyond with a continuous objective to improve performance and quality.”

Loving life at Lingfield - AMEC joins Lingfield Point

We think that Lingfield Point offers first rate customer service and our ‘Lingfield Life’ package includes everything from a bespoke concierge service to unrivalled facilities on-site – and that’s why so many big name businesses want to be based here.

Lingfield Point offers fantastic facilities including Little Lingfields – our on site nursery, top quality catering thanks to canteen by alexander macmurray, and a great range of events and promotions including our unique ‘happy fit camp’ – boot camps with a giggle.

Thanks to a new direct bus service and free bike hire, the neighbourhood has an ethos of sustainability too – helping its customers to reduce their carbon footprint as well!

The bus service will be an added advantage to AMEC staff

AMEC will join firms such as the Student Loans Company, Four Seasons Health Care, NAAFI, Xentrall Shared Services and the award-winning FaulknerBrowns architectural practice.

We’re all very excited about our latest neighbour to join us….adding even more colour and vibrancy to life at lingfield.

Feel free to pop over for a cuppa or call us on 01325 486486 and find out why so many businesses are based themselves at the best postcode in town.
