So when we discovered that recent Census readings have highlighted a rapid growth in the population figures, with the largest population growth existing within our very own Darlington (a whopping 7.9% increase between 2001 and 2011!), we were thrilled as this can only be beneficial to our local area.

So when the Census also revealed that there are 10,300 more children under the age of five in the North East since 2001 (a ginormous 7.4% increase!) we are feeling positive and enthusiastic about what Darlington’s future has to offer.
