Getting excited about The Olympics?
One of Lingfield Point’s customers has been living the dream during the run up to one of the most exciting and dramatic celebrations this country has ever experienced.
FaulknerBrowns, now in its 5th year based within our beautiful Beehive office complex, has just celebrated winning the ‘RIBA East Spirit of Ingenuity Award’ 2012 for the Lee Valley White Water Centre. This prestigious annual and regional awards scheme is aimed at recognising the design ingenuity and architectural excellence of architects and their clients across the regions.
This scheme was the first project to be delivered as part of The Olympics Build Programme – it stands as a great testament to FaulknerBrown’s vision and delivery. The team have been living the dream, drawing the dream and even helping the deliver the dream!
The Lee Valley White Water Centre is home to the canoeing events for The 2012 Olympic Games and shows innovative architecture at its best. It comprises of a 300m Olympic standard canoe and kayak slalom course and a 160m intermediate/training course with Start and Finish pools, together with support accommodation. Not forgetting seating for 12,000 spectators!

We’re proud to be associated with great brands, great minds and great vision.
