Sustainable homes on their way
We’re pleased to welcome Taylor Wimpey as partners bringing a taste of the good life to Darlington’s first sustainable mixed-use community.
Lingfield Point has joined forces with Taylor Wimpey – a firm responsible for a number of cutting-edge housing schemes across the UK – in the first phase of housing development of our £100million masterplan.
We’ve been promising something different and that is what the town is certainly going to get. These homes will be the first to be built in east Darlington for sometime and they’ll be living up to our expectation of our ethos of modern, low carbon, sustainable development in keeping with our visionary masterplan.
We want to create a place with individual character and personality based around a family friendly community. Our partnership will be using lessons learned from some of the best housing schemes in Europe – we’ve put plenty of thought into both the nature and design of these new homes.
During July, we’re keen to hear what you think about our plans for the future and we’re hosting a public exhibition at canteen at Lingfield Point. The proposals will involve a variety of new homes ranging from family homes; smaller dwellings, apartments and affordable housing.
If you’re unable to attend our exhibition, feel free to click on the link below where you’ll be able to view the boards and information relating to the proposals. A feedback form will also be available to download, along with appropriate contact details for further information.
